The Head of Human Resources at Access Bank Rwanda PLC will be responsible for leading the HR function in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. This role involves shaping and implementing HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
Develop and execute HR strategies to support business objectivesManage recruitment processes, ensuring the right talent is attracted and retainedOversee performance management systems to enhance employee performance and motivationLead talent management initiatives, including succession planning and career development programsImplement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace cultureEnsure compliance with labor laws and regulations to mitigate risksManage employee relations and address any issues that may arise in the workplaceCollaborate with senior management to develop HR policies that support the business strategyMonitor HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify areas for improvementRequirementsA Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's degree or HR certification (e. g. , CIPD, SHRM) is preferredAt least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to manage change and drive organizational improvements
