Job Description:We are recruiting for an Account Director who is an exceptional and driven media planner to join our Client Services team.You will play a key role in managing client relationships, driving revenue, and coordinating internal teams to deliver exceptional media strategies from planning to execution. You will get the opportunity to design exciting, award-winning campaigns as well as work with channel specialists to make those plans a reality.This involves everything from defining the approach to audience, designing the connections plan across both brand & performance using all relevant touchpoints as well as advising on media innovation and measurement.Key AccountabilitiesClient PlanningAttend client briefing meetings and distil the client challenges and the role for dentsu services to deliver these challenges, ensuring measurable objectives in placeConstruct overall media strategy in answer to the client brief (getting support from Business Director and Strategy team if required)Translate client brief into detailed internal briefWith the client’s overarching strategy and objectives in mind, review and collate individual channel plans into an overall plan whilst providing supporting rationaleDay to day management of campaigns as a key liaison between clients and channel specialistsClient ManagementBe the main point of contact for clients and understand requirementsManage delivery of all post campaign analyses – working with your direct team and specialists. Deliver strategic review of competitive activity, QBR presentations. TeamEnsuring that teams are skilled up and resourced appropriately and support with upskillingOwnership of delivery of Performance Development Reviews including development plans for direct reports; proactive identification and management of performance issues. Operational FinanceResponsible for accurate and timely invoicing to our clients. Responsibility for working with AMs and specialists to ensure effective management of client budgets and invoicingSkills & ExperienceMust have:Excellent planning, analytical and organisational skills alongside high attention to detailExceptional offline and digital media experience, and how they work togetherAbility to interpret data and performance results into actionable recommendations.. Continually optimise paid activity to ensure campaigns meet KPIs and targets. Ability to brief effectively and challenge responsesCommercial awareness and exceptional financial acumenArticulate presenter with the ability to present to senior clients and internal agency teamsCommitment to deliver first class work every time, and never leave a quality issue uncheckedUnderstanding of the media landscape in IrelandAbility to problem solve and focus on solutionsAn open mind, be flexible and embrace an agile way of workingKey Experiences:Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a media agencyLeading a team to deliver best in class campaignsExceptional client management and communication skills.
