They will be expected to leverage their own network of high-level contacts across corporates, consultancies, and agencies to drive new business opportunities and deepen POLITICO’s partnerships with major international organizations.About The RoleAs Senior Director, Media Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing POLITICO’s European commercial offering. You will oversee a portfolio of strategic clients and identify new opportunities to deepen our partnerships with key stakeholders across public affairs, corporate communications, and brand marketing.You will thrive on autonomy and ambition, working independently to generate and close deals, while being deeply collaborative with our international team across editorial, operations, and product development.What You'll DoOwn and grow a portfolio of high-value client relationships, managing complex stakeholder groups across corporate affairs, government relations, and media agencies.Proactively develop and execute revenue-generating strategies aligned to POLITICO’s editorial strengths and commercial goals.Identify and close new business opportunities by leveraging your existing network and industry knowledge.Act as a senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic consultative advice on POLITICO’s media, event, and custom content offerings.Lead compelling pitch development, presentations, and negotiations with C-level executives, directors, and policy leaders.Represent POLITICO at top-level briefings, forums, industry summits, and networking events across Europe.Stay ahead of competitive market trends, global policy developments, and innovation in the public affairs and comms space.What You'll NeedWe are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focused individual who is:Experienced: 8+ years in senior commercial roles—preferably in media sales, strategic communications, or policy advisory.
