ROLE DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive end-user engagement and capture white space opportunities for the Nokia Network Infrastructure (NI) portfolio. The role focuses on creating demand among specific segments/verticals, ensuring Nokia NI solutions are top-of-mind in digital transformation projects, while working closely with Nokia, resellers, system integrators, and service providers to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEnd User Engagement & White Space Development* Identify, target, and engage new end-user accounts in the region to unlock white space opportunities for Nokia NI solutions.* Drive direct engagement with C-level decision-makers, IT leaders, and network architects to position Nokia as a strategic technology partner.* Develop and execute account penetration strategies that increase Nokia NI visibility and relevance in key verticals (Power utilities, ISP, Higher education, Financial services, hospitality, etc.).Channel & Ecosystem Alignment* Work hand-in-hand with Nokia resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers to build demand and create qualified opportunities.* Educate end users on the Nokia NI value proposition and ensure alignment with their go-to-market strategies.* Support enablement initiatives (trainings, workshops, executive briefings) to strengthen channel capabilities in driving end-user business.Sales & Business Growth* Achieve sales targets for Nokia NI portfolio by managing pipeline and progressing opportunities from early engagement to closure.* Develop proposals, business cases, and ROI models tailored to customer environments and transformation priorities.* Provide accurate forecasting, account planning, and reporting on business performance.* Gain deep knowledge of the Nokia Portfolio and its relevance to the appropriate customer segmentsCross-Functional Collaboration* Collaborate with Nokia and internal teams (pre-sales, marketing, finance, logistics) to deliver seamless customer and partner experience.* Feed market intelligence (competitive insights, pricing trends, customer needs) into the business to shape strategy and vendor alignment.* Drive joint campaigns with marketing teams to generate leads and elevate Nokia NI brand visibility in the region.Education * Bachelor's degreeQualifications & Experience* 5+ years of experience in vendor, or system integrator environment, with a focus on enterprise networking, infrastructure, or telco solutions.* Proven success in end-user sales engagement and channel sales models within the Middle East & Africa region.* Strong understanding of networking technologies (IP networking, optical transport, SDN, private wireless, data center networking etc).* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at C-level.Key Competencies* Hunter mentality with ability to open new accounts and drive white space expansion.* Strong commercial acumen with ability to link technology benefits to business value.* Ability to navigate complex channel ecosystems and build trust with partners.* Self-driven, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.* Results-oriented with a passion for technology-led transformation.Knowledge * Knowledge of assigned product and service offerings.* Understanding of product positioning & competitive conditions.* Knowledge of sales cycle is required.* Knowledge of sales & marketing strategies, techniques, and principles.* Knowledge of customer service and support processes.Desired Skills, Abilities & Attributes * Applying Business Acumen.* Managing the Competition.* Working with Technology.* Execution Excellence. * Excellent listening and communication skills - verbal and written.* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. * Strong negotiation skills.* Strong presentation skills. * Ability to multitask.* Handles confidential financial and personal information appropriately.* Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.* Possess strong problem-solving skills.* Accurately captures Partner information.* Willing to be flexible.* Ability to work effectively under pressure.* Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills.Values: Demonstrate our company values: Integrity, Partnership, Ambition and AccountabilityJoin a growing global businessWestcon-Comstor is a leading name in IT distribution with US$5.45 billion in global revenues.
