We have over 236,000 customers worldwide, and the Account Executive help the largest of those accounts scale their investments in Atlassian.This Account-based Selling role will join our Japan team. Our Account Executives build and implement a sales strategy to improve the adoption of select products and services to our Enterprise customer base. At the same time, we want our Account Executives to be a promoter for their customers, sharing experiences and suggestions with our product and engineering teams, and optimizing our customer experience. All of this is done in tight coordination with our Channel Partners, Product Specialists, and Marketing organization.Account Executives are consultative, solution-oriented, and creative. They are able to think strategically and effectively prioritize resources to meet the needs of our customers. You need to understand the Enterprise Sales process and be able to help us apply what could work to the Atlassian sales model.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement named Account or Territory plans geared at both maximising expansion opportunities across a wide portfolio of products and ensuring high bar of customer successMaintain full Account ownership while coordinating with a variety of roles to ensure a seamless customer experienceWork closely with colleagues in the Solution Engineer, Inside Sales, Channel, and Renewal teams to build and execute on effective sales strategies for designated territory or named AccountsStrong interlock and engagement with Advisory Service to understand technical initiatives and business outcomesTeam up with the Renewals Team to maximise customer health and retentionEstablish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with internal Atlassian stakeholders, Solution Partners, and key customersQualifications5+ years of experience managing important customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunitiesExperience utilizing a CRM to achieve and correlate key performance metricsBuild territory and strategic account plansExperience leading Account teams to promote successful customer outcomesEngage customers with a consultative, solution-oriented approach in discovering new opportunitiesExperience meeting performance targetsContribute to the team culture in a positive, impactful wayBusiness Level Japanese or aboveBusiness Level English or aboveExperience selling SaaS to Dev/IT audiencesSolution selling to VP and C-level ExecutivesExperience working with a channel sales organisationExperience with both on-premise and cloud software solutionsIt's a Bonus, But Not Required, If You HaveFamiliarity with Atlassian's suite of productsBenefits & PerksAtlassian offers a wide range of perks and benefits designed to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
