Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Account Maintenance team in the capacity of: Account Maintenance Processing Clerk (Contract)(Grade 2) Provide professional and attentive service to branch network & business units by accurately performing account maintenance transactions.Take personal accountability for delivering superior client experience including, effective problem resolution . Location: Kingston As An Account Maintenance Processing Clerk, You Will Assume ownership of issues/concerns at first point of contact. Ensure appropriate escalation to supervisor or relevant person/department. Maintain adequate knowledge of all bank’s products and services. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer accounts, documents and transactions. Conduct pre-account opening verification activities as appropriate for each product, to include: Id, employment and character verification. Create new customer records and accounts e.g. savings, chequeing accounts. Perform post-account opening review to ensure compliance with KYC/POCA & SBJ operating guidelines Maintain customer records and accounts such as: product change, name & address change etc. Create & maintain e-bank profiles, credit card accounts, standing instructions, direct advantage profiles Set-up & maintain debit cards. Scan & upload KYC documents & signatures to T24. Log incoming and outgoing customer files and requests. Prepare regulatory reports. Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? Diploma/Associate's Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration or any other related field from a recognized tertiary institution. Knowledge of Commercial Banking Operations & POCA regulations is a distinct advantage. Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills. Effective communication & interpersonal skills. High degree of initiative & effective problem-solving skills. Effective team player. Ability to work with little supervision. Knowledge of customer service principles.
