Job Description

Job PurposeThe Account Manager – Sports Sector is responsible for managing key sports partnerships and sponsorship accounts. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, ensuring successful delivery of sponsorship rights, maximizing client satisfaction, and supporting the company’s strategic objectives in the sports industry.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned sports accounts and partners.Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and retention.Understand client objectives and deliver customized solutions that meet their business and brand goals.Partnership Activation & DeliveryOversee the implementation of sponsorship rights, ensuring all deliverables are executed on time and at high quality.Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, creative, operations, legal, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor partnership performance and prepare regular status and impact reports.Business Development & StrategyIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.Support in developing proposals, pitch decks, and renewal strategies for partners in the sports sector.Conduct market research to stay up to date with sports industry trends and competitor activities.Financial & Administrative ManagementTrack account budgets, ensuring accurate invoicing and cost control.Support in contract management and ensure compliance with agreed terms.Prepare reports on account performance, ROI, and recommendations for improvement.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.4–6 years of experience in account management, sponsorships, or partnerships (preferably in the sports sector).Strong understanding of the sports ecosystem and sponsorship landscape in Saudi Arabia or the region.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple accounts and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
