Here Is What The Job EntailsIn the position as Account Manager, you will play a crucial role for our customers. You will be responsible for initiating, planning, and executing the sales activities – ensuring the development of existing sales and the growth of our pipeline. As Account Manager within Water, you will manage appointed prospects and customers in Steiermark, Niederösterreich.More specifically, you will be:Building strong customer relationships and developing customer-centric account strategies Driving pipeline growth, managing offers, and closing deals in compliance with targets and governance Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless customer engagement Maintaining CRM, forecasts and providing insights to sales management for continuous improvement You will experience autonomy and strategic impact to drive innovation and make a tangible impact as you shape a more value-adding and sustainable future for our customers in the water-utility industry.Travel is an essential part of the job and you can expect to spend approximately 50% of your time traveling.Meet your future teamWith a direct reference to the Sales Manager Water Germany & Austria, you will become part of our high-performing and experienced Sales team passionately working to digitalize and drive a more sustainable future for Austria’s utility sector. You achieve this by combining technical expertise with strong business acumen, fostering relationships and delivering value in a complex environment.In order to succeed, we imagine that you:Have a proven track-record in driving large account B2B sales of technical products and solutions preferrable Smart Metering industry, including building up a pipeline, while maintaining existing customers Have excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills Are goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Act as the CEO of your sales territory — taking charge, setting direction and delivering growth As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and German.Whilst you may not meet all the qualifications listed above, you could still be a good candidate for the position.
