Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and expanding long-term relationships with the Pathomation client portfolio within the Life Sciences and Pharma segments. This includes managing and growing customer accounts, identifying new commercial opportunities, and driving sales in alignment with company objectives. The Account Manager acts as the main commercial contact for assigned customers and prospects, ensuring strong, long-term relationships and contributing directly to revenue growth. ResponsibilitiesIdentify new opportunities at customer in the Life sciences and pharma market Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new customer organizations. Align organisation performance with customer expectations Organise demos of Pathomation products Primary contact person for Pathomation at the customer Develop high quality long-term relation with customer Understand customer organisation and decision makers Provide input for the sales administration Attend congresses and industry events Support Marketing Activities by gathering market and customer feedback Use customer input to drive necessary improvements and innovation for Pathomation products Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to align on sales targets and strategy. Work in close collaboration with the project manager to ensure handover of commercial projects and Ensure customer needs are fulfilled Provide accurate sales forecasts, maintain CRM records, and support proposal preparation. QualificationsBusiness related Master or scientific Master with account management experience Previous experience working in customer facing roles, within life sciences, pharma Experience with customer relations management software, CRM software Good understanding of digital pathology use cases
