Make your career real with HiltiWe’re looking for an experienced Account Manager based in the North West – Rustenburg specifically, who will takeownership of market share for Hilti for all activities in the assigned territory, and further develop profitable sales. This rolelooks after our Platinum Mining client segment -Production or Processing. Ours is no ordinary sales job - ours is a uniquelyhigh performing and supportive working culture.This is a “bench-role” which exists for the purpose of talent pipeline creation to address our future hiring needs as theybecome active.What You'll DoYou will take the ownership in the assigned territory to develop sales by utilizing all elements of our sales process toeffectively analyze, implement and control the opportunities within the territory to achieve the assigned targets for definedterritory or market segment. You will find yourself in a variety of places such as Mining sites, Construction sites, Miningplants or in offices and warehouses.You will also build fruitful working relationships with all levels - partners, contractors, system integrators & end users, andactively manage and develop the growth of key products within the sales territory by targeting the appropriate customergroups and ensure successful introduction of new products. You will ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given toboth buying and potential customers within the customer platform, to develop profitable growth.You will actively and effectively demonstrate, service, train, and (where appropriate) test Hilti products; and to be successfulyou must understand the market thoroughly and know the players, therefore you will obtain information on competition,market price levels, new launches, seminars, new outlets, quality issues, product deliveries and report in monthly reports.What You’ll BringTo be successful in this role, you will need:A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (An advantage but not a must).Minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct technical sales experience in the mining industry.Valid driver’s license.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Strong communication skills (Written and Spoken).Strong interpersonal skills with stellar stakeholder management skills.Commitment, courage and competitive drive.A willingness to learn and challenge yourself.Strong technical skills with key focus on customer service for a large client base.Business Acumen and excellent knowledge of the job market and network across the industry.Willingness to go the extra mile.What’s In It For YouWe’ll give you everything you need to excel in your role, including your own vehicle full of tools and one-to-one coaching; you’ll manage your own book of business while being part of a friendly team.
