Great, here's who we're looking for...The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, providing strategic direction, and planning across a variety of clients. They act as the main point of contact for the client within the organization, working closely with internal project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and following agreed upon strategy.What You Will DoIndependently manage client relationships and projects, proactively offering sound solutions to issuesFoster and nurture a positive working relationship with internal and external clients through frequent, and professional, strategic communicationIdentify opportunities to grow accounts by proposing and introducing new solutions and services based on clients' needsOversee marketing retainers and projects (i.e., Social/SEO retainers, Paid Media, and campaigns) in partnership with subject matter expertsOversee and manage small to medium scale web development and digital marketing projects from Discovery to LaunchManage overall project timelines, with the support of Project Managers and AccountCoordinatorsUphold day to day expectations for general project management (ensuring daily stand ups, Jira follow up, testing when required, etc.)Manage overall project budgets and work to find efficiencies while keeping the project within scopeCollaborate with all relevant VERB departments, engaging subject matter experts on projects and new initiativesMaintain a working knowledge of client brand standards and assetsUncover and articulate research, insight, and strategic models to help advance the business interests of clientsKeep senior management informed of project progress, ensuring that potential issues affecting client services and projects are communicated early and resolvedEnsure all deliverables are tested, proofed, and reviewed against requirements, creative designs, and strategy to ensure that only high-quality products are submitted for client approvalOwn the final quality control for all client-facing deliverablesMentor Account Coordinators, supporting with their career development and onboarding as necessaryBe a champion for positive employee morale by encouraging and energizing the wider VERB teamRequirements2+ years of relevant experiencePost-secondary education in marketing, advertising, business, communications, public relations, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to present to clients and internal managementDemonstrated experience in digital marketingProficiency in administrative tasks, i.e., building decks, pulling together budgets, completing contact reports, etcThe ability to manage timelines and budgets, while collaborating with subject matter experts who own executionHighly proactive and demonstrates initiative to find creative solutions to problemsPossesses a working understanding of SEO, SEM, web analytics, social and traditional mediaStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communicationHighly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environmentBenefitsOur benefits are anything but basic, with vacation time available on day one (not to mention an extra bonus week during the holidays), an annual travel credit (for non-work related travel), and free office snacks and drinks to keep you energized when you're around.In addition, we offer the following and are consistently looking for new ways to enhance the benefits we offer to our team:80% premium share option for Group Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision), with a health spending account to top up your claimsA healthy living accountCompany matching RRSP programTop up for Parental/Pregnancy leaveRemote and flexible work arrangementsTransit and fitness discountsRecreational sports teamsLearning and development opportunities with a multitude of resourcesInternal recognition programs
