The firm values integrity, precision in financial documentation, and proactive communication to ensure seamless internal operations and strong client trust.About the role:We are seeking an Accountant to support the firm’s financial operations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, including trust accounting, payment processing, reconciliation, financial reporting, and coordination with attorneys and administrative staff.The ideal candidate has experience working within a U.S. law firm environment, strong understanding of legal billing and trust accounting compliance, and meticulous attention to financial detail.Experience in a personal injury firm is a strong plus.U.S.-based Legal Or Accounting Experience Is Preferred.What you’ll be doing:Manage daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, payment posting, and expense tracking.Perform trust accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with state bar regulations and ethical standards.Reconcile client trust accounts, operating accounts, and settlement distributions.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.Support attorneys and case teams with financial documentation related to settlements, costs, and expenses.Verify and process vendor invoices, medical billing payments, and case-related expenses.Maintain accurate and organized financial records within the firm’s accounting or case management system.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial audits, and year-end reporting.Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters as needed.Who are we looking for?2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.Strong understanding of legal billing, trust accounting, and financial compliance requirements.High accuracy in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial documentation.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Clio, MyCase, or similar).Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple financial workflows simultaneously.Experience with U.S. accounting practices or personal injury law firms is preferred.English fluency (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.Position: AccountantRemote Status: Fully RemotePreferred Location: Latin AmericaWorking Hours: 9 am – 6 pm ESTHolidays: US Federal HolidaysSalary: USD 900 – USD 1,200 per monthInternal Job ID: 0933
