Accountant

We are actively searching for a permanent Accountant to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be a vital member of Algol Chemicals Ukraine, tasked with overseeing accounting responsibilities.Responsibilities:Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Ukrainian accounting standards and regulations. Ensure compliance with Algol group requirement.Cash Management: Bank account management and managing of account receivable and account payable.Tax Compliance: Including calculation and reporting VAT; Intrastat etc.Payroll Processing: Calculate and process employee salaries, including taxes and social contributions.Preparing of Balance sheets and P&L reports.Submitting financial reports to regulatory authorities in compliance with Ukrainian financial reporting requirements.Audit Preparation: Prepare financial statements and documentation for external audits. Collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.Internal Controls: Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.Requirements:Relevant educationExperience in similar rolesProficiency in value-added taxation, excise taxation, accounting, and financial statementsFluent in English, UkrainianIT skills and a willingness to learnDesired Qualities:Attention to detailProactive work ethicInitiativeCollaborative skillsPositive attitudeWhat We Offer:Join our proficient financial management team in an international group.
