As a world leader in its field, Arup offers the full spectrum of civil engineering consulting services.The OpportunityThe primary focus of the Accountant role is to deliver financial accounting and tax support for entities based in Indonesia and to the wider financial accounting support to teams across Asia Pacific and Arup Group as required.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of statutory packs and tax packs for both local reporting and group consolidations for multiple entities.Working with the Senior Accounting Manager to engage with the local and group auditors to deliver audited financial statements on time.Perform a monthly review of general ledger for assigned entities.Secondary review of shared service centre reconciliations and support to resolve reconciling items.Review of monthly intercompany invoices.Support Arup Treasury with intercompany settlements.Preparation of month end and year-end journals as required. Working with Arup’s tax team and external advisor to help support the computation and filing of VAT returns, corporation and withholding tax.Preparation of the quarterly LKPM report.Providing support to the wider Indonesia business as a whole on financial accounting matters (e.g. bid support, bonds, insurance etc).Is this role right for you?
