Accountant

Accountant is responsible for assisting in recording day-to-day transactions of the Company, including but not limited to overheads, depreciation, marketing expenses. Also, periodically the job requires reconciliation of trade and non-trade suppliers and debtors.Key Responsibilities:Booking of day-to-day entries (including but not limited to overheads, depreciation, marketing expenses)Non-trade debtors/vendors bookkeeping and reconciliationTracking sales on online marketplace to ensure the deductions applied by online resellers are applied in our booksAssisting in reviewing the sales reports issued for customers that are on consignment basisIssuing credit notes to customers and linking credit notes to claims made in the operational system to ensure correct allocation of fundsBooking credit notes from suppliers and linking credit notes to claims made in operational system to ensure correct allocation of fundsAssisting with external audit by providing necessary documentationAbout you:Bachelor’s degree in Finance3+ years of experience in working in accounting departmentKnowledge of accounting standards and processesStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently and as a team player Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial dataProficiency in using financial software and Microsoft OfficeWe offer:Work for a financially strong, fast-growing multinational companyAccess to continuous professional development: training, certification programs, events, and team buildingsCompetitive salary package and motivation schemeHealth insuranceInternational career opportunitiesWith over 3200 employees in 28 subsidiaries across the EMEA region, ASBIS is a pre-eminent global value add distributor, OEM, and solutions provider.
