Accountant

Our client, a well-established company active in the healthcare sector and based in Brussels, is looking for an Accountant to strengthen its finance team.You will join a dynamic and committed environment where accuracy, teamwork, and a sense of purpose are key values.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the company’s daily accounting operations and ensuring the reliability of financial data:Process and follow up on accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)Verify and handle payments and expense reportsPrepare and submit VAT declarationsParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closingsPrepare financial reports and support external auditsContribute to the improvement and digitalisation of accounting processesProfileDegree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management2 to 8 years of experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a company environmentExcellent command of French, with a good knowledge of Dutch and EnglishProficient in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel)Experience with Exact Online is a strong assetAnalytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organisational skillsAbility to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration
