We ensure each client is satisfied, all their wishes and desires have been met, and more.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Berry Advertising in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role requires strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles to support the financial health of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & ReportingMaintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.Accounts Payable & ReceivableProcess invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation.Assist in payroll processing and tax calculations.Audit & CompliancePrepare financial data for internal and external audits.Ensure accurate tax filings and compliance with local tax laws.Maintain organized financial documentation and records.General Accounting SupportProvide insights and recommendations for financial process improvements.Assist management in decision-making through financial analysis.Support other departments with financial data as needed.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the advertising or service industry.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (Peachtree) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple financial tasks with accuracy.Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
