Electoral Commission of South AustraliaJob reference: 709911Location: 5000 - ADELAIDEJob status: OngoingEligibility: Open to EveryoneElectoral Commission SA (ECSA) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the effective financial management of the agency.The Accountant will deliver a variety of financial and accounting services, including financial forecasting, budget analysis and management, and reporting. Additionally, they will offer procurement and contract advice, guidance, and support across ECSA.Reporting To The Manager Finance, Key Responsibilities Includeworking with the Manager Finance and managers to prepare the annual budget and providing regular progress reportspreparing financial statements and performance reporting in accordance with established timelines and relevant legislation, standards and regulationsproviding advice and guidance on complex financial management and control mattersoverseeing ECSA’s banking functions including bank and credit card reconciliations, cash flow modelling and cash flow managementleading and providing financial input and evaluation for complex and high value procurement processespreparing annual and quarterly financial statementsfacilitating external audit processesactively evaluating ECSA’s financial systems, policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Applications are encouraged from degree qualified professionals (Accounting, Economics or Commerce) with previous experience in financial and management accounting.
