We have been raising the industry bar for years.Job SummaryReporting to the Finance Manager in Singapore, the Accountants will be responsible for managing the invoice payment process and support to produce accurate management accounts.In this role, the accountant will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and supporting audit requirements. The ideal candidates should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to identify opportunities for improving processes and driving efficiency. They will also contribute valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization.Key Responsibilities· Record and post invoices into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner for multiple entities.· Process and execute invoice payments for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal approval and control procedures.· Maintain and update vendor master data, including bank details, in accordance with internal control requirements.· Handle day-to-day finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and taxation-related matters.· Perform month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.· Prepare and file monthly VAT returns in compliance with local VAT regulations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.· Provide audit support by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.· Perform variance analysis as part of the month-end closing process.Qualifications & Skills· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA certification preferred.· 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting, with prior experience in the brokerage, FX, or CFD or IT industry preferred.· Proven experience in processing a high volume of invoices and payments with accuracy and efficiency.To know more about Finalto, please visit www.finalto.com.For questions, please contact HR Business Partner Sophie Lykke at sophie.lykke@finalto.com.
