The company operates a fleet of around 10 oil and petroleum product tankers, with headquarters in Athens and a representative office in Dubai.To support their growing operations, we’re seeking an Accountant - a skilled professional who will take ownership of key accounting tasks and support senior management in maintaining financial accuracy across international operations.What You’ll DoManage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors and consultants.Assist in budgeting and cost control for multiple vessels and entities.Handle communication with banks, suppliers, and service providers.Collaborate closely with the Head Accountant and management team on financial planning and analysis.What You’ll Bring3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.Proven background in the shipping or logistics industry.Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.Fluency in English (working language in the company); Greek not required.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Experience working with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and high accuracy in work.Why JoinCompetitive net salary: €2000 - 2500 per month, depending on experience.Opportunity to work in an established international shipping company.Collaborative and professional environment with experienced accounting leadership.Exposure to global operations and multi-entity financial structures.Stable, long-term position with professional growth opportunities.
