DescriptionRole Overview The accountant is responsible for preparing and managing consolidated financial statements across multiple entities within a group. This role ensures accurate intercompany accounting, compliance with financial regulations, and supports strategic financial planningKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial ConsolidationPrepare semi-annual interim condensed consolidated financial statementsPrepare annual consolidated financial statementsEnsure accuracy of intercompany transactions and eliminationsMaintain supporting schedules and disclosure notesAudit & ComplianceCoordinate and manage external auditsAddress audit findings and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)Reporting & AnalysisProvide financial insights to support decision-makingTrack budget performance and ensure accurate cost allocation into the different segmentsSupport forecasting and budgeting activitiesProcess ImprovementImplement internal controls to prevent fraud and errorsContribute to system enhancements and process optimizationSupport strategic planning initiativesStakeholder CollaborationLiaise with regional finance teams, tax agents and government authoritiesReview regional submissions RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExperience with ERP accounting software preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelingStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively
