The role is expected to evolve rapidly through streamlining and automating of processes. As a Financial Accountant, you will focus on month end close activities and fixed assets accounting for Micron Companies.Responsibilities And Tasks (include But Are Not Limited To)Manage day-to-day accounting activities, focusing on fixed asset accounting including lease accountingPerform month-end close activities including preparing journal entriesReview and track fixed asset project costs following policy and guidelinePrepare and present monthly account reconciliations, variance analysis and ad hoc reportsEnsure compliances to accounting GAAPs, policies and SOX controlsSupport internal and external auditSupport business partners and finance analysts on fixed assets related mattersDrive process improvement and automation to streamline fixed assets processesProvide guidance and training to internal customers and peersAd hoc task as assignedKey Skill/CompetenciesIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsSAP experience highly desirableExperience in Blackline, Ariba and Concur preferredExperience in data analysis & result orientedDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to act and operate independently with minimal supervision / directionAbility to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environmentEducation & ExperienceQualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Degree in Accounting/Finance.3+ years accounting or finance experienceShared service experience and/or audit experience preferredAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
