📍 Nicosia, CyprusAre you a passionate Junior Accountant who values accuracy, compliance and long-term professional growth and who is looking to build a stable career within a well-established firm in Nicosia?On behalf of our client, a well-established boutique professional services firm based in Nicosia, providing audit, tax and advisory services and supported by professionals with more than 30 years of experience in leading international firms, we are looking for an Accountant to join their team in Nicosia, Cyprus.Key Responsibilities:Ensure proper recording and maintenance of accounting books and ledger accounts.Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, collections and reconciliations.Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial results and internal reporting.Provide support in the development of budgets and financial projections.Assist in maintaining compliance with tax obligations and statutory requirements.Coordinate with auditors, banks and other external parties when necessary.Oversee and review staff expense submissions to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.Approximately 1–2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.Technical Requirements:Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with financial reporting tools.Good understanding of local financial regulations and statutory compliance requirements.Experience with Sofia accounting software will be considered an advantage.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Effective organizational and time management abilities.Benefits:Professional development opportunities (professional qualifications, trainings, seminars)13th salaryProvident Fund upon completion of one yearLife insurance after probation period (6 months)Fully technology-enabled working environmentFree parkingFriday afternoon offCompetitive remuneration packageAnnual Performance BonusDress for the occasion policy
