As we expand across markets and establish our headquarters in Singapore, we are hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting across our entities.Role SummaryThe Accountant will support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to month-end close processes. You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to manage transactions, reconciliations, and reporting in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliationsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesMaintain accurate general ledger and support group consolidation activitiesPrepare financial reports and support management with variance analysisSupport GST/VAT submissions and ensure tax and statutory compliance in relevant jurisdictionsWork with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors across multiple countriesHelp implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and automation toolsMaintain organized documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and policiesAssist with budgeting support and audit preparation as neededRequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accountingPrior experience in a startup, tech, or multi-entity environment is a plusProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel/Google SheetsSolid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectivelyComfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentWhat we offerOpportunity to grow with a scaling startup and take on regional exposureFlexible work environment and collaborative team cultureHands-on experience with global finance operations and automation toolsAbout Manus AIManus is a general AI agent that bridges minds and actions: it doesn't just think, it delivers results.
