Job Description

Firm Bookkeeping • Process all checks and deposits for the Firm accurately and on time. • Accounts payable and Receivable • Cash Flow and Expense Management • Financial Reporting • Enter Income and Cash Disbursements, then prepare and take deposits to bank • Generate Payments (checks, EFT’s, etc.)• Account reconciliation • Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation • Track and Maintain Occupancy Program • Track and Maintain Agent charges (to include Firm fee) • Administer Allowance activity and generate 480 at year end • Minimal to no issues listed on the monthly audit report and any other financial audits. Firm Financial Support • Effectively manage the financial activities of the General Agent’s Business Account(s) by fundamental accounting and “prudent man” rules. • Manage the annual budget according to the annual business plan. • Process the Firm’s payroll and tax reporting responsibilities • Implement and administer Agent Debt Collection Policy Firm’s Occupancy Plan Agent Service Fee Program Technology Program (fees and collection) • Provide financial forecasting and monthly financial reports • Manage cash flow • Ensure timely payment of the Firm’s and GA financial obligations • Administer financed agent payroll and reports. • Implement and administer initiatives and financial programs needed, such as (but not limited to): Occupancy Programs, etc.Financial Client Service • Performs client service that reflects the Firm’s vision/mission/values. • Sorting and handling daily e-mails and calls from agents, brokers, sales assistants, and staff before the end of the business day, in exceptional circumstances, in a reasonable timeframe. • Assist advisors, Career Agents and Brokers with direct deposit processes. • Provide guidance and address questions regarding Commission Statements and Pending Net Payable. • Daily review of the commission’s chargebacks report. Notify producers, Business Manager and the Client Experience Team to collaborate to retain the business. • Be a liaison between the Home Office and advisors to assist with debt repayments (Benefits debts, etc.). • Assist Advisors, Career Agents and Brokers in understanding their compensation. • Address and resolve any issues that may arise regarding commissions and renewals for all lines of business.
