We are committed to providing exceptionalcustomer service, competitive pricing, and a wide selection of automotive products toempower drivers and automotive professionals across Canada.We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team.This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting businessoperations, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable:● Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.● Reconcile supplier invoice statements and resolve discrepancies.● Reconcile all Income statement and Balance sheet accounts.● Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.Payroll Administration:● Prepare and process bi-weekly and bi-monthly payroll in compliance withemployment standards.● Prepare and process Quebec payroll and comply with filing requirements.● Manage employee payroll records, benefits, deductions, and T4/T4A,RL-1 slips.● Ensure accuracy in payroll entries and resolve payroll-related issues promptly.Sales Tax Filings:● Prepare, review, and file GST/HST, PST, and other sales tax returns on time.● Maintain compliance with federal and provincial tax regulations.● Support tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities as needed.General Accounting & Reporting:● Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entriesand reconciliations.● Maintain accurate general ledger accounts.● Support preparation of financial reports for management.● Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.Qualifications● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.● 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail.● Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll standards and sales tax compliance.● Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or equivalent).● Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).● Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.● Knowledge in French will be a plusWhat We Offer● Salary range – CAD $50,000 to $60,000● Insurance coverage● 15 Days of Vacation in a year● Opportunity to be part of a fast-growing Canadian e-commerce brand.● Collaborative and supportive team culture.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Life insuranceApplication question(s):2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail.Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll standards and sales tax compliance.Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).Knowledge in French will be a plusWork Location: In person
