Accountant

GL Accountant – Manufacturing/Construction Industry We’re seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to join a well-established organization in the manufacturing and construction industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys full-cycle accounting and wants to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing finance team. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely journal entries • Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts monthly • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies • Support internal and external audit requests Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5–7 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction • Strong working knowledge of GAAP • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (Ventis/Jonus a plus) Additional Details 💼 Salary: $75K–$90K (DOE) 📍 Location: Capitol Heights, MD 🧩 Basic accounting assessment required If you’re looking to join a stable, growth-oriented company where your accounting expertise will make an impact — we’d love to hear from you!
