The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. The role includes preparing budgets, income tax returns, and supporting audits of self-managed funds. Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.QualificationsComprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax complianceProficiency in financial analysis, budget preparation, and cash flow managementExperience with accounting software, BGL360/or Class Super.Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholdersAbility to work on-site full-time in the Greater Sydney AreaMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA or CA certification is preferredPrior experience in CA/CPA firm is an advantage
