We pride ourselves on our collaborative team culture and our focus on accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.The RoleWe are looking for an organised and proactive Accounting Administration Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth client communications, accurate record-keeping, and timely completion of accounting and administrative tasks. As we have had additional growth we are now seeking a full time team member.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client communications, including scheduling appointments, emails, phone calls, and follow-upsAssist with onboarding new clients and maintain accurate client recordsLiaise with regulatory bodies such as ASIC and ATO, handling correspondence, notices, and routine callsPrepare and lodge ASIC documents, including annual reviews, director changes, and company setupsMonitor deadlines for BAS, tax returns, and ASIC filings, and send timely client remindersDraft client letters, engagement agreements, and other professional correspondencePrepare and issue invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding accountsMaintain workflow in practice management software (e.g., Xero Practice Manager)Upload documents to client portals for e-signing and track completionProvide general office and administrative support as neededWhat We’re Looking ForStrong organisational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAttention to detail and accuracy in documentationProficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management softwareAbility to work independently while supporting a collaborative teamPrevious experience in an accounting or professional services environment is advantageousWhy Join UsSupportive and friendly team environmentOpportunities to learn and grow within the practiceExposure to a wide variety of clients and accounting processesFlexible and modern workplace
