Accounting Advisory Services Leader

Job Description

You will have an opportunity to lead the development of our technical accounting and capital markets advisory practice in Estonia, working closely with experts in the Baltics and CEE region. You will help solve our clients’ complex issues around financial reporting, technical accounting, and finance transformation for high profile transactions and business-critical matters. You will build relationships and have significant interactions with our clients’ senior leadership teamsIn this role you will:Learn from the best and brightest minds in public accounting who accumulated extensive experience from the world’s leading markets in the US/UK. Leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to engage with clients and targets and promote PwC’s services in the market and source opportunities. Research, form a point of view and advise clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters related to deals and other transformational events. Build expertise on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital markets topics, including IPOs and bond offerings, spin-offs, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, GAAP conversions, accounting complexity, and share based payments. Have access to world-class technology solutions such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, as well as AI tools. Support our clients’ CFOs and other senior stakeholders on deals (including IPOs, bond offerings, M&A transactions, and corporate reorganisations) and finance change projects Collaborate with our audit, tax, and deals specialists on a local and cross-border basisThis position is ideal for you if you have:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance or similar fields At least 5 years of working experience in external audit, deals or finance-related consulting, or technical accounting functions Experience and drive to lead people in projects and teams Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, ACA or similar), or advanced student thereof Strong customer service orientation, commercial acumen and ability to find and win work in the market. Ability to operate at a deal speed, deep intellectual curiosity and consultant’s mindset Genuine interest in technical accounting, business valuations, deals and/or financial modelling Strong working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP or capital markets regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
