Accounting Analyst

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity based in Mississauga, ideal for professionals who excel at managing complex reconciliations and contributing to month-end close processes under tight deadlines.In this role, you'll be responsible for multiple concurrent reconciliations, expense-related accruals, and the preparation of accurate, audit-ready journal entries. You’ll work directly with key stakeholders to gather data, provide insights, and support robust financial reporting processes in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and complex journal entries related to a variety of expense accruals.Complete multiple month-end account reconciliations (e.g., bank, fixed assets, prepaids, accrued liabilities) simultaneouslySupport the month-end close process and contribute to internal and external financial reportingAnalyze and reconcile accruals to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.Manage fixed asset additions and disposals, maintaining ledger accuracy Qualifications:Minimum 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a large or complex business environmentStrong working knowledge of complex journal entry creation and expense accruals.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or BusinessActively pursuing CPA designation (preferred)Experience using Oracle Financial ERP or similar systems is an asset
