Accounting AP Officer

Handles and reviews general accounting functions, such as but not limited to the following:Bank reconciliationAccounts ReceivableAccounts PayablesInventory costing and ReconciliationFixed AssetsBank loansPayroll & govt. remittancesRelated party transactionChecks transactions and its supporting documents for mathematical accuracy, validity, reasonableness and completeness Revolving Fund replenishment Cash advance liquidation Reimbursements Purchase requisitions/Purchase Order Prepares and records month-end closing entries for accrual Prepayments Depreciation and amortization Adjustment and reclassification correcting entries Review and reconciles subsidiary ledger and General Ledger monthly to ensure accuracy of posting. Validates Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account and prepares fluctuation or ratio analysis. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports/requirements submitted. Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records Ensures systematic filing of documents Reviews and recommends modifications to improve departmental policies, procedures and processesOthersThat Management may assign from time to time in relevant to job positionsJob RequirementsCandidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy.Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax AnalystKnowledge of accounting and bookkeeping proceduresFamiliarity with accounting software packagesComputer literacy (MS Excel in particular)Excellent analytical and time management skillsStrong numeracy skillsKeen attention to detail
