JOB TITLE: Temporary Accounting Assistant - Bank Reconciliation Unit Accounting Assistant Applications are invited for the position of Accounting Assistant (Grade 2) in the Financial Accounting department at Sagicor Life Insurance Trinidad & Tobago Ltd. The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor.Job SummaryResponsible for preparing the bank reconciliations for Sagicor Life Insurance Trinidad & Tobago Limited (SLITT) and related entities supported by the department.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesPrepares monthly Bank Reconciliations for all assigned bank accounts, to facilitate management review. Analyzes and researches all unreconciled items and out of balance reconciliations. Distributes unreconciled items identified to respective departments and territories. Prepare bank charges and stale dated journals as necessary for assigned bank accounts. Prepares the Sagicor Life Bank Reconciliation Monthly Audit File Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills Required Education/Experience: Five CXC passes, including Mathematics and English Language Level 1 ACCA would be considered an asset A sound knowledge of SUN Systems would be considered an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word Good interpersonal skills and communication skills A strong appreciation for customer service Good organizational skills Good orientation to detail Deadline for Submission: October 14, 2025
