Job Description

Within the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, you will join the Fund Accounting team, responsible for the accounting of funds and their satellite companies (GP, Soparfi, Holding).Your role will be to review and validate files handled by the Accountants, and to manage the accounting for clients categorized as "complex" in order to prepare the financial statements for Alternative Investment Funds and/or commercial companies, in compliance with internal procedures and applicable accounting standards.In this capacity, your main responsibilities will be:Accounting ManagementSupporting the PERES Accountant in onboarding new clients and analyzing their business;Monitoring the onboarding of new clients, migration, etc.;Reviewing the calculations of various fees such as Performance, Management, and Arrangement fees;Reviewing CACEIS invoices;Review and validate the financial statements produced by the PERES Accountants in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal procedures;Ensure the production of accounting records classified as "complex";Assist in the preparation of reports according to the format, frequency, and deadlines defined with clients and/or in compliance with regulations;Maintain relationships with clients and external auditors during the review of accounts;Assist Accountants in their daily work and in resolving complex problems;Technical Skills:Knowledge of investment funds, securities, and financial instruments;Knowledge of investment funds and real estate activities;Technical accounting and tax knowledge (accounting standards, accounting techniques, consolidation methods and techniques, changes in corporate taxation, VAT, IFRS & LuxGAAP standards);Legal and financial knowledge (legal structures, legal obligations, capital increase processes, various financial instruments, different valuation methods, etc.);Soft Skills:Prioritization skillsAnalytical skills and attention to detailCommitment and responsivenessCommunication skillsRigor and excellent organizational skillsGood stress management skillsAptitude for working with numbersAbility to anticipate, plan, and react.Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Knowledge of BOB-50 accounting software and/or GP is an advantage.Minimum education levelYou hold a higher education degree in Audit-Accounting or Finance.Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)Minimum experience level3-5 yearsContract typeCDI - Permanent contractAddressBelval, Esch-sur-AlzetteAdditional InformationAs part of the finalization of the recruitment process, the shortlisted candidate will be asked to provide a copy of their Luxembourg criminal record (or equivalent for non-residents) dated less than 3 months prior, given the field of activity of our establishment.
