Accounting Lecturer

Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Accounting Lecturer to join our esteemed educational institution’s faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or a related field, holding at least a master’s degree, and possess exceptional teaching abilities to inspire and engage students in the world of accounting. The Accounting Lecturer will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education, fostering academic growth, and preparing students for successful careers in the accounting or the business industry.Responsibilities:Lectures: Deliver engaging and interactive lectures to students, providing them with a solid foundation in accounting principles and applications.Classroom Management: Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, encouraging active participation and academic excellence among students.Individual Support: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them in understanding complex concepts and assignments.Assessment and Feedback: Set coursework and exam assessments and provide constructive feedback on assignments within two weeks of the submission deadline.Collaborative Initiatives: Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to expand the College’s teaching provision. Maintain regular communication with management, administrative staff, IT support, and other lecturers.Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay up to date with advancements in education.Qualifications:Education A minimum of a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualifications such as ACCA are highly advantageous.Experience Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred.Knowledge Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, management accounting, and taxation.Proficiency in using educational technology such as Turnitin.Skills & Abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.Interested candidates may apply directly or email your CV and certificates to:jobs@laksamanacollege.edu.bn
