So, we’re relaunching our search and excited to meet new talent!Our Shared Services Hub in Gdańsk is hiring an Accounting Manager to support a team and help make our finance operations feel more stable, coordinated, and manageable. The team isn’t starting from scratch – we’ve already got a strong, tight-knit group in place. They’re capable, collaborative, and committed. What we need now is clearer structure and someone who cares about getting the finance fundamentals right.What Success Looks LikeIn the first 6 months, we’ll count on you to give the team a bit more shape and direction. Some people are new, some are experienced, but everyone’s doing their best - and you’ll help them stay focused, feel supported, and know what’s expected. Your main responsibilities will include:Team ownership and stability: The team has full ownership of daily finance tasks; issues are resolved on timeLeadership and delegation: You become the clear go-to person for any finance-related questions or escalations, increasing clarity around the roles within finance sub-teamsProcess improvements and collaboration: Hands-on support around handling escalation cases early so they don't pile up or bounce around left untreatedWhat The Job Looks LikeThis is a hands-on finance role where you’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day work – leading by example, solving problems in real time, and setting the standard for your team.You’ll cover the full scope of finance operations: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliation. Some processes are in place; others need your direct input to follow up, finalize, and improve.Roll up your sleeves to lead daily finance activities – GL, AP, AR, and reconciliationsSet clear expectations and support the team to meet deadlines and deliver accurate bookkeepingStay close to the work – overseeing vendor payments, invoice entries, collections, and account matchingBuild a respectful, collaborative team culture by being present, supportive, and involvedWork closely with Group Accounting to align Shared Services finance processes and prioritiesSpot inefficiencies in real time and lead practical improvements that make everyday operations run betterWhat do we hope you bring?This job is for someone who’s hands-on, practical, thoughtful, and steady under pressure.
