We are equally committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture that empowers every individual to thrive.Join us, and you will be part of a team of over 1,200 people worldwide that values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth.What We are looking for As an Accounting Manager at Novibet, you will be responsible for efficiently managing daily accounting tasks in strict adherence to company policies and procedures, under the guidance of the Head of Accounting.What you will work onResponsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.Liaise with external auditors and ensure smooth year-end and interim auditsPresent financial information clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders, including management and directors, as well as external stakeholders, regulators, and shareholders.Mentor, coach, and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.Drive automation and process improvements in the financial reporting cycleStay updated on IFRS standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in financial management processes. What you bringBSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; MSc degree will be considered as a plus10+ years of combined Accounting & Finance professional experience, out of which 2+ years in a managerial role, preferable in a multinational CorporationACCA, ACA, CFA certification will be considered a plusFluency in English & Greek (oral and written)Computer literacy with knowledge of MS OfficeStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent organizing and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet the deadlinesPossess a can-do attitude and be a team player with team management skillsWhat we offerWe truly value our people at Novibet!
