Accounting Manager

Our client in the engineering & construction sector is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee full-spectrum accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for managing an accounting team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with accurate financial insights for decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accounting policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.Supervise and lead the accounting team in daily operations and month-end / year-end closing activities.Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow analysis.Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.Maintain and manage Chart of Accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other related institutions.Prepare and submit tax reports and statutory filings in compliance with local regulations.Advise management on financial matters, accounting treatments, and tax implications.Review customer and supplier credit ratings to manage financial risk.Manage property insurance, claims, and employee-related financial transactions.Ensure compliance with TFRS / IFRS accounting standards.Prepare payroll, provident fund, and social security reporting.Provide coaching and guidance to accounting staff to support professional development.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized university.5–10 years of experience in accounting, with prior experience as Chief Accountant / Accounting Manager.Experience in the construction or engineering industry is preferred.Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards (TFRS) and familiarity with IFRS is an advantage.Certified Accountant (CPD) is required.Proficient in MS Office and accounting software systems.Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.Good command of English (written and spoken).Excellent organizational and time management skills, especially for closing periods.What You’ll GainLeadership role with the opportunity to design and improve financial processes.Exposure to both management accounting and financial reporting at a strategic level.A stable, structured working environment with long-term career development potential.
