📌 Position: Accounting Manager (Client-Facing)💵 Salary Range: $2,500 – $3,500 USD/month🕒 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, ~8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST (with some flexibility)🌍 Location: Remote – Latin AmericaOverviewWe are a fast-growing accounting group working with a diverse portfolio of U.S.-based clients. We are looking for a client-facing Accounting Manager who can lead accounting operations, manage a small team, and act as the primary point of contact for clients. You will oversee end-to-end accounting delivery, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.This role requires autonomy, leadership, and the ability to run accounting processes with excellence — not just execute tasks, but own them.ResponsibilitiesAct as primary point of contact for assigned clients, leading recurring client meetings and ensuring exceptional service.Own the close process (monthly, quarterly, annual), including balance sheet accuracy and review of key accounts.Manage and mentor 1–4 accountants, reviewing their work and ensuring quality deliverables.Oversee full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, accruals, cash and accrual accounting, deferred revenue, etc.).Review financial statements, support audits, and provide insights to clients on financial performance.Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and internal best practices.Work closely with internal leadership to continuously improve processes and service quality.Leverage tools such as QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Bill.com and others to maintain clean, organized and accurate financials.Qualifications5–7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team-lead role.Proven client-facing experience: leading meetings, handling external communication, and presenting financial information.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP fundamentals, debits/credits, reconciliations, and close processes.Strong written and verbal English (C1–C2).Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities with autonomy and accountability.Nice to haveExperience with ERPs such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct.Background in multinational environments or professional services (Big 4, Accenture, Exxon, Chevron, etc.) is strongly preferred.Previous work in audit or external assurance environments (Big 4 or similar).Experience working directly with U.S. auditors.Passion for continuous improvement and process optimization.
