The role will support end-to-end accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in NBFC, fintech, or financial services, with sound knowledge of Pakistan’s accounting and tax regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Record ManagementMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, cashbook, and bank bookProcess invoices, reimbursements, and vendor payments, ensuring proper documentation and approvalManage petty cash and daily expense records according to company policyReporting & ReconciliationPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including cash flow, P&L, and balance sheet summariesPerform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations on a regular basisSupport month-end and year-end closing activities with detailed financial statementsCompliance & TaxationEnsure compliance with FBR, SECP, and local NBFC regulatory requirementsPrepare and assist with tax filings, VAT, and withholding reportsSupport audit processes, providing timely and accurate documentation for internal and external reviewsBudgeting & AnalysisAssist in budget preparation, expense tracking, and variance analysisProvide financial insights to management for operational decision-makingCollaboration & CoordinationLiaise with regional and global finance teams to ensure accurate data consolidation and reportingSupport finance management in implementing process improvements and financial controlsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationMinimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in NBFC, fintech, or banking sectorsStrong understanding of Pakistan’s accounting standards, IFRS, and tax regulationsProficient in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systemsExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsFluency in English and Urdu (written and verbal)Preferred QualificationsPart-qualified CA, ACCA, or ICMA certification preferredHands-on experience in automated reconciliation and reporting toolsPrior work experience in a multinational fintech or NBFC environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary package with annual performance-based reviewTwo festival bonuses per yearMobile and internet allowanceHealth insurance and paid annual leaveOpportunity to grow and develop within a global fintech companyPowered by JazzHRAdLOqzz43A
