Accounting Team Leader

A Snapshot of Your DayWe are seeking an Accounting Team Lead to join our forward-thinking team within LATAM region. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency with cutting-edge solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in navigating the financial landscape and propelling us towards our ambitious goals.How You’ll Make An ImpactEnsure the complete monthly / quarterly / yearly closing and reporting, for all collaborators as per the scheduled timelinesOwn the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines and standards.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support actuals reporting.Support the Head of Accounting in handling relevant complex accounting treatments.Lead and guide junior team members, encouraging a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.What You BringDegree in accounting, with a minimum of 7 years of work experience in the field of mainstream Accounting, Closing and Reporting as well as cash and banks closing experience.Expert knowledge in accounting under IFRS and local GAAP (e.g. Revenue recognition, Forex accounting, Leases etc.). Extensive experience and background at a Big Four accounting firm.Highly diligent and passionate with regards to numbers and have an eye for details.Hands-on experience SAP S4 HANA, Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.Leadership strong skills to inspire and guide the team, navigate challenges, and achieve organizational goals, also strong intercultural skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization in English.About the team:The selected person will work jointly with the Regional Accounting Team and work with all the stakeholders of the Company in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
