What You'll Be DoingAre you an experienced Backend Developer looking for new challenges? We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who excels in backend development and is ready to jump into full-stack development, if needed. In this role, you will get to work alongside other skilled developers and designers building our Mepco Aika product that makes a real impact. Mepco Aika is a new user-friendly, mobile-focused time management solution that enables effortless, time and location-independent working time tracking.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will get to work in the core of the product development through the full software development life cycle from planning to hands-on coding all the way to release. Some of your key responsibilities include: Planning, implementing, and maintaining new functionalitiesCollaborating with team members and other important stakeholders to create smooth and seamless user experiencesEnsuring performance, security, and scalability of the Mepco Aika productTaking part in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and mentoring other team members about the development and architectural choices as well as contributing to best practicesLocation:

Espoo - we work in hybrid mode but the team meets regularly at the office in Keilaniemi. What We Are Looking For We're looking for an enthusiastic and open-minded Senior Developer to work both independently and also together with competent colleagues on a business-critical application. For the role we are looking for someone with: Several years of experience from software development with a focus in backend development with . NET and C# in addition to a solid grip on SQL. Bonus points if you’re familiar with TypeScript and React or have experience with Azure Kubernetes / containers in your toolkit.

Familiarity of modern development methods, tools and technologies with hands-on experience, adapt to changes and willingness to drive innovation within the product development process. Ability to identify technical challenges, propose solutions, and drive the team towards effective problem solving. Good interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders. Strong proficiency in Finnish and English (both written and spoken).
