This newly created role in Finance & Administration is pivotal to successful day-to-day customer service operations while owning and integrating essential financial administration requirements. Your new role Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with operations and liaise with suppliers and customers to manage procurement and accounts payable, inventory control, and accounts receivable (including certain aspects of customer invoicing). You will also contribute to core financial accounting tasks and work actively alongside the CFO to improve processes and support performance improvement. Key responsibilities include: Managing purchase orders, vendor communications, and inventory logistics.Processing invoices, credit notes, adjustment notes and payments; liaising with customers and suppliers as needed to reconcile accounts and resolve problems.Monitoring receivables and payables, preventing unnecessary ageing of outstanding balances and laying the groundwork for strong positive cash flows.Controlling inventory and partnering operations to optimise stock levels.Processing transactions in a GST-compliant manner.General financial and accounting administration, fostering good stewardship of the company's resources and accurate financial record keeping.Leading certain aspects of the month-end close, including payables and receivables cut offs, general ledger reconciliations and bank reconciliations. What you'll need to succeed High proficiency in mid-market ERP systems. Business Central experience is highly regarded.Familiarity with Professional Services Automation (PSA) concepts, ideally with some practical exposure to leading software applications in this space.Consistent with the company's values, a commitment to excellence and accountability.Demonstrated capability to manage complex processes and coordinate multiple stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to take ownership with confidence while working collaboratively and with accountability across all business functions. Experience & qualifications Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts administration, preferably in a professional services/physical logistics environment, supported by intermediate financial accounting skills and a solid working understanding of core GST requirements.Minimum Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent.Demonstrated understanding of the IT industry and the IT services business.
