CAREER OPPORTUNITY – ACCOUNTS CLERK Acado (Barbados) Limited is a leader in the marketing and distribution of fast-moving consumer goods, handling a wide range of consumer products and representing leading regional and international brands. We are focused on building and maintaining an innovative, engaged team culture. We are seeking to recruit a highly numerate, self-motivated, commercially-focused Accounts Clerk for our Finance team. Duties include: • Ensuring the company is aware of its financial obligations to vendors and service providers and ensuring these obligations are honoured in a timely manner. • Providing financial, clerical and administrative services to support efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts in the assigned portfolio. • Supporting the cash management, general ledger management and financial reporting objectives of the organisation while adhering to the financial and administrative procedures set out by the Company. The ideal candidate should: • Possess an Associate Degree in Accounting • Have at least three (3) years’ experience in a similar position. • Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills. • Be computer literate with knowledge of accounting software packages, Microsoft Word and Excel working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous. • The ability to work outside of normal working hours, including weekends as may be required.
