Friendship is looking for Accounts OfficerResponsible for:S/he will be responsible for assisting the financial process, documentation and record keeping as well as other day to day financial tasks of the project. S/he will be responsible for sending financial record keeping financial reporting to HO-Finance General Manager and project focal.The Accounts Officer will work within the project and be responsible for supporting the financial processes, documentation, record-keeping, and other day-to-day financial tasks. This role requires high level of attention to detail process oriented works and having ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.The Accounts Officer will report to the HO based Senior Finance Manager and ensure timely submission of financial reports.Ensure the Fund Requisition, Project Advance, Cash & Bank Transaction, Checking Bills /Voucher and cheque disbursement for any type of Vendors and others Related work Properly done.Voucher preparation, Books Keeping & Financial Record Keeping, filing and Financial Report prepared and sending related work done.Prepared and Checking the Internet bill, Mobile allowance disburse, budget clearance for PR, Project Budget Line & Fund Requisition Related work done accordingly, for smoothly Operation own Responsibility like Procurement of the Project.Prepared the financial report, and checking the Policies & Procedure for Meeting, Training & Others related tasks properly.Assist to Respective Program and Procurement Team for PR Making, Vendor Mapping and Selection process, Quotation Collection, Comparative Statement and Work Order Related Issue and guide in the office procurement of goods and services in accordance with organizational procurement policies and procedures related work.As per need based, providing the support to the respective person or respective sector for office deed of agreement, GOB/NGOs, HR and administrative related work.Participate the meeting, training, and workshop and present the Friendship vision, mission and values sincerely.Maintain and keeping the Friendship policies, values, ethics, code of conduct, template, logo, prescribe others format sincerely.Maintain the cooperation and coordination with finance team, others sectors and play logistics management roles for the field offices.Activities:Regular maintain book of accounts; bill and voucher checking and preparation; prepare cash requisition and forecasting; budget variance preparation; prepare financial report. Employment StatusContractEducational RequirementsMaster of Business Studies (MBS)Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 3+ years proven work experiences in the national/international NGO.Experience RequirementsAt least 3 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):NGOSkill and Competencies:Experienced in maintaining books of accounts for donor supported projects.Accounting Skills.Basic financial Decision-Making Skills.Financial Reporting Skills and Communication Skills.Analytical thinking and financial management.Computer skill: Microsoft office application-MS Word, MS Excel, Power PointPlanning/forecasting/budgeting (practice).Variance analysis.Problem solving and decision-making.GO/NGO levels relationship.Willingness to travel to consortium members locations and project sites as required for monitoring and support activities.Job LocationAnywhere in Bangladesh
