We will continue to work with customers and stakeholders to deliver and develop the energy infrastructure solutions essential to lowering emissions – including through natural gas, renewable gas and carbon capture and sequestration solutions.About The OpportunityWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Financial Services, this role is responsible for accounts payable function. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong SAP and Excel skills, and enjoy working across departments, we’d love to hear from you.Please note: This role can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne or Perth.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end processing of invoices in SAP per agreed allocationsLiaise with Procurement and internal departments to resolve PO/invoice variancesGenerate weekly and ad-hoc payment runs (electronic and manual), with full supporting documentationCoordinate foreign currency payments in collaboration with TreasuryMaintain Vendor Master Data and ensure accurate records and audit logsPrepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations by the 15th of each monthSupport cash flow forecasting and reporting, including weekly cash flow chats and treasury meetingsProcess monthly intercompany on-charge journalsProvide monthly reports to support accruals for month/period-endProactively manage supplier queries to prevent overdue paymentsMonitor the AP inbox and respond/escalate queries per agreed protocolsEnsure strict compliance with 3-way matching to prevent duplicate paymentsAbout YouMinimum 5 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable roleExperience in cash flow forecasting and analysisIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsWorking knowledge of SAP (highly regarded)Familiarity with electronic banking platforms (e.g. Commonwealth Bank Corporate Online)Sound understanding of accounting principles and banking proceduresRelevant accounting qualification desirableWhat We OfferWe are proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by Diversity Council Australia, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned us recognition in 2023-2024.
