About The RoleWe are now looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable professional to join our growing finance team in Finland. In this role, you will provide reliable and compliant financial operations support, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, tax reporting, and financial records. You will play a key part in maintaining smooth collaboration across departments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting efficient financial operations within atNorth’s expanding Nordic organization.Main areas of responsibilityAccounts Payable & Financial ProcessingProcess and manage all supplier invoices and purchases for the Finnish entity.Ensure timely and accurate handling of accounts payable transactions, including expense reports, credit cards, and vendor reconciliations.Maintain the fixed asset register and perform monthly reconciliations.Compliance & ReportingPrepare and submit VAT reports to the Finnish tax agency, ensuring compliance with local regulations.Track and record monthly journals for salaries, taxes, accruals, and other relevant entries.Support internal and external financial reporting with accurate and timely data.Maintain regular contact with suppliers, tax agencies, and other relevant authorities.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with other departments to support efficient financial processes.Collaborate with the finance headquarters in Iceland and the broader atNorth finance team.Provide backup support for accounts payable activities in other entities when needed.About YouYou are an experienced finance professional who combines precision and structure with a collaborative mindset. You are comfortable working in an international environment, have solid experience with Finnish tax and VAT requirements, and take pride in maintaining high-quality financial processes.RequirementsSolid understanding of local GAAP and bookkeeping principles.Proven experience with Finnish VAT and tax reporting.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Fluent in English and Finnish; written and spoken.Good organizational skills and proactive problem-solving ability.Experience with accounting systems (Dynamics 365 F&O is an advantage).Minimum 6 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.Background check will be conducted to all our employees.At atNorth, we believe that sustainable success starts with the wellbeing of our people.
