Two AP Team Lead Roles — 1 in Antwerp & 1 in BrusselsAre you a people-minded finance professional who loves structure, process, and teamwork — and who gets energy from making things run smoother every day?Then this might be your next challenge.We’re currently looking for an Accounts Payable Team Lead to strengthen the finance teams of two growing organisations — each with its own rhythm, but sharing one goal: building reliable, high-performing finance operations.💼 What you’ll doYou’ll lead a team of AP professionals (6 to 9 people), making sure invoices are processed accurately, payments are on time, and internal controls are solid.Beyond the numbers, you’ll guide your team with a coaching mindset — helping people grow, giving feedback, and encouraging ownership.Your focus:Lead, mentor, and develop your AP team — set clear expectations and foster engagement.Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end closing activities.Drive process improvements and automation (ERP migration or workflow optimisation).Ensure compliance with VAT, audit, and internal control standards.Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, IT, and business stakeholders to solve issues proactively.🧭 Who you areYou combine leadership with hands-on drive — someone who likes being in the middle of the action, not just watching from above.You bring:A bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience).3–5+ years of people management in an accounting or shared services environment.A strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and audit requirements.A continuous improvement mindset — standardisation, automation, SOPs?
