Job DescriptionStuff Digital is one of New Zealand’s most trusted media organisations, and we’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. This is a key role that ensures the smooth operation of our financial transactions, maintaining accuracy, compliance and efficiency across both payables and receivables.You’ll play a vital part in supporting strong supplier and customer relationships, effective cash flow management, and the continuous improvement of our finance systems. This includes leveraging automation and AI tools to enhance reconciliation, reporting and transaction accuracy.What you’ll doProcess supplier invoices and payments accurately using digital and AI-driven tools.Manage customer invoicing, collections and reconciliations to maintain cash flow and data integrity.Conduct supplier statement and bank reconciliations, supporting month-end and year-end reporting.Maintain accurate supplier and customer records within D365 or similar ERP systems.Support pay runs, cash flow forecasting and short-term liquidity management.Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives across the finance function.Ensure compliance with company policy, audit requirements and relevant legislation.What you’ll bringProven experience in accounts payable and/or receivable within a mid- to large-scale organisation.Strong understanding of ERP systems (preferably D365) and automation technologies.Familiarity with AI-based tools for data capture, reconciliation or workflow management.Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to manage priorities and build strong working relationships across teams.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and an interest in using data to support decision-making.Why Stuff?You’ll join a supportive, forward-thinking Finance team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
