Reporting to the Credit & Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable Team and ensuring that the A/R tasks are accurately completed within timelines prescribed and that the document retention policy is always followed.What's in it for you?• Health benefits and pension plan• Weekly pay• Onsite Cafeteria• Discount at our Chicken Shop• Opportunities for career advancement• A culture that values humility, a respect for family and hard workWhat you will be doing:• General A/R tasks to be completed accurately within prescribed time frames include, but are not limited to: cash receipts application process, customer deduction/rebate process, credit note issuance and approval process, collection, customer audit and A/R scanning process, and accounts receivable aging report.• Financial Reporting – preparation of short weight report; over $500 credit note report; • Balance cash receipts daily to the General Ledger; prepare and maintains Sharepoint Daily which creates accrual listing at month end for sales orders and rebate credit note that are pending approval; and prepare customer account and inter-company trade reconciliation.• Ensures customer rebates are processed timely and customer accounts are reconciled in a timely manner.• Provide assistance on interim and year-end audits; process monthly rebate payments and free text invoices for Quota related billing.• People Management:a. Organize and supervise the activities and work of a team of subordinates to ensure that all assigned work activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.b. Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates to ensure their continuous development and overall contribution to the achievement of Maple Lodge Farms business strategy. • Policies, Processes & Proceduresa. Adhere/comply with company policies and procedures.b. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.c. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of improved department specific processes, policies and proceduresWhat you will bring:• Minimum three years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role with some Supervisory experience required;• Ability to prioritize and organize personal and team work load effectively and supervise and train members of the Accounts Receivable team;• Ability to work / excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;• Advanced Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office, ERP)• Post Secondary Diploma in Accounting required.Maple Lodge Farms was established in 1955.
